In-Water Training
Day 1: Pool, Quarry & Theory (6:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Your confined water sessions focus on mastering scuba skills in a controlled environment. Training includes:
Course orientation and reviews
Theory completion (eLearning or instructor-led)
Scuba equipment setup
Confined water training sessions (1–4)
Equipment de-kitting, washing, and storage
Skills are taught step by step in a relaxed, supportive environment to help you build confidence at your own pace.
Day 2: Open Water Dives 1 & 2 (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
Your first two open water dives take place either in the ocean or a freshwater lake, depending on weather and training progress. You’ll dive up to 12 metres, practicing the skills learned in confined water sessions while getting your first real taste of underwater exploration.
Day 3: Open Water Dives 3 & 4 (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
The final two dives are conducted in the ocean, reaching depths of up to 18 metres. By now, you’ll notice a significant boost in confidence and comfort underwater. After completing your skills, you’ll have time to enjoy the marine environment before completing equipment care and final paperwork.

Course Requirements
Minimum age: 10 years
Swim 200 metres unaided OR 300 metres with snorkelling gear
Ability to float for 10 minutes without support
Bring your own swimsuit, towel, cap, face mask, and personal items
