Scuba Driver

If you’re interested in learning scuba diving in India and earning your first scuba certification—but you’re not a confident swimmer yet—the Scuba Diver Course is the perfect starting point! This beginner-friendly program is designed to introduce you to the underwater world with comfort, confidence, and proper guidance.

At Livein Adventures, our Scuba Diver Course is an exciting first step toward becoming a certified diver. Once certified, you’ll be able to explore the colourful underwater world up to 12 meters (40 ft) deep under the supervision of a certified Divemaster or Instructor. Your certification is internationally recognized and valid for life, allowing you to dive across the world’s most beautiful destinations.

Our approach is simple: more training, better confidence. With experienced instructors and a safety-first system, we ensure you learn at your own pace without shortcuts or hidden charges. The course is conducted over 2 days—one full day of confined water training and one day of ocean dives—giving you ample time to master essential skills and build comfort underwater.

Knowledge Development

Before entering the water, you’ll complete Online Theory Training, where you’ll learn essential diving principles, safety rules, basic physics, and how scuba diving affects the human body.
You can go through the theory at your convenience, and our team will always be available to clarify doubts, guide you, and ensure you feel confident before the dive sessions begin.

In-Water Sessions

Day 1 – Confined Water Training (Pool / Calm Lake / Quarry)

This is where you’ll learn and practise all fundamental scuba skills. Starting from simple tasks to slightly more advanced techniques, your instructor will guide you step-by-step until you’re fully comfortable.
Training sessions usually take a few hours, depending on the pace of each student.

Day 2 – Open Water Dives (Dive 1 & Dive 2)

Once you’ve completed the pool session successfully, it’s time to put your skills into action in the open ocean.
You will complete two open water dives, performing key skills underwater and getting plenty of time to explore the marine environment of Vizag.
After the dives, you’ll return to the dive centre to learn how to clean, care for, and store scuba equipment—an important habit for every diver.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 10 years

• Ability to float for 10 minutes without assistance

• Must carry personal swimwear, towel, cap, and required personal items
